Chasseur cast iron is manufactured by skilled craftsmen in the Ardennes region of France, using time honoured techniques that have been honed to perfection over the last 70 years. At every stage of manufacture each item is checked by hand, all polishing, enamelling and finishing is also done by hand, to guarantee the best possible quality. All Chasseur cast iron cookware carries a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing defects.
Surprisingly environmentally friendly, each French cast iron piece is manufactured from over 80% recycled iron, and the state of the art foundry has impeccable filtration systems to reduce any potential pollution to their local environment. Even the sand modules are broken down after each moulding, and the sand can be reused again to make more moulds.
Suitable for use on gas, glass/ceramic, radiant ring, halogen hobs and oven/grill. Dishwasher safe.
